NPR favorite, Sylvan Esso (Amelia Meath ’10 and Nick Sanborn) performed another Tiny Desk Concert in May, this time at home. NPR wrote, “The Durham, N.C., couple gives us three songs from their home couch using modular synths, a rhythm machine and Amelia’s heartfelt vocals. This home concert stands in sharp contrast to Sylvan Esso’s remarkable new film, WITH, which features a host of their dear friends reshaping and reimagining their brilliant catalog of songs during the duo’s 2019 tour.” With—a concert documentary and corresponding album—was released in April. It included Mountain Man members Molly Erin Sarlé ’12 and Alex Sauser-Monnig ’09, along with other musicians from their show in November 2019. The film was also released with an album.
